Rooster from silver breeding. Came out light gold. Silver spurred hen to go with him. hen from nonmolting father, Rooster has never molted. He will be two years old this spring. Rooster is in full blood feather, and saddles as well. Saddles were molted first year at molt. He did not molt them this year. Rooster is being reared in a tomebaku type stall. Tail takes a lot of care. Please if you are not an experienced longtail breeder, contact for information before you make any decisions about owning a nonmolting fowl. rooster is not a show rooster. The lines here at Stewart Longtails are raised for feather type and quality only, and bred toward the onagadori standard. Rooster weighs 3.5-4 lbs. Hen is currently in a breeding pen. She is missing some of her back feathers because of being in the pen. see photo. hen is approx. 1 yr old. We appreciate your interest in our birds and will endeavor to be as honest as we can about the birds and if you have any questions please feel free to write. Again, these birds are tail bred, not to phoenix show standard. Nonmolting fowl are rare and take a lot of care and dedication to remain in good feather condition. Shipping will be $80 on the pair.
