north dakota help!!!

    hey all i just found out that im getting stationed at minot AFB ND everything ive found says you cant keep chickens in minot, does anyone know otherwise????????

    dont think so, from what im finding chickens are outlawed in the entire county

    That seems pretty odd--Minot is pretty rural.

    ok just got off the phone with the ND Dept of AG apparently im good outside of city limits, only problems is that everything is a darn city

    Well, the base is a ways north of the city (if you can call that small a population a city, lol), and there are plenty of other smaller towns in the area. Might want to contact base houseing and see if they have lists of places for rent or contact a realtor if you are looking to purchase and get them working on finding homes where chickens are allowed.

    Are you living on the base?

    If so that is likely not to be under civilian rule in any form at all.
