North Ga.....Cumming at ya!!

I live in cumming Ga on a smale fram where we have horses and I just got chickens about 2 months ago!! Love them!! just need help!! What do you do when your chickens are being mean to one hen?? As in pecking her on the back and taking out her feathers?

and I need to get rid of 2 of my 3 roos any takers?? 2 ameracans and 1 Buff Orf Sarah www.Blackthornfarms.com

no i dont think sooo about your question...are they in a coop or are they free range...if in a coop it may not be big enough

I have them in a stall, nice size... It's manly 1 rooster...I don't know!!

What's your hen to rooster ratio?

well i have 1 rooster in a stall by himself and the others are 3/2- hens/roos I'm wanting more hens and less roos!!

I can't let them out do to dogs and I can't risk them scaring a horse during a riding lesson!!

You need about 10 heens per roo.
Your hen is probably just being overmated.

yea i agree with rooster red i only have 3 roosters with 23 hens
