North Ga.....Cumming at ya!!

    I live in cumming Ga on a smale fram where we have horses and I just got chickens about 2 months ago!! :)Love them!! just need help!! What do you do when your chickens are being mean to one hen?? As in pecking her on the back and taking out her feathers?[​IMG] and I need to get rid of 2 of my 3 roos any takers?? 2 ameracans and 1 Buff Orf Sarah www.Blackthornfarms.com

    its a small world i live in cumming georgia im Drew Holtzclaw...you may have even bought hay from my dad Tim.

    no i dont think sooo about your question...are they in a coop or are they free range...if in a coop it may not be big enough

    I have them in a stall, nice size... It's manly 1 rooster...I don't know!!

    well i have 1 rooster in a stall by himself and the others are 3/2- hens/roos I'm wanting more hens and less roos!![​IMG] I can't let them out do to dogs and I can't risk them scaring a horse during a riding lesson!!

    You need about 10 heens per roo.
    Your hen is probably just being overmated.

    yea i agree with rooster red i only have 3 roosters with 23 hens
