    My aunt was telling me how chickens fall out of meat trucks down there all the time. [​IMG] Made me very sad.
    When I move that way...if that's really the case...I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time collecting stray birds. >_<

    That's very sweet of you to post for the little guy. I would take him in an instant if I lived there. However, a word of caution: meat birds are bred to grow insanely fast, and unnaturally big. If he is indeed a true commercial meat bird, he may start being crippled by his own weight after 4 months or so. I'd be very careful to let the people who adopt him know that he will not make a good pet, and probably will need to be processed eventually. That doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a comfortable and happy home until then, so bless you for what you are doing.

    Hope he finds a good home in the meantime! Lots of treats!
