Just started our little gang of pampered pullets over the summer- No eggs yet (still too young) but lots of fun- I might be hooked :)
We have a multicultural group: 1 Buff Orp , 1 Black Australorp, 1 Golden laced Wyandotte, 1 Easter Egger and 1 Americauna (I think, she is silver so I guess we'll see what color eggs she lays- Really doesn't matter)- 5 Chicks- The 5 Chick Inn- get it? Ok, I know....

Looking forward to learning from everyone here and hopefully finding others in the CT area!

They are so easy to love and the fun just keeps coming.

Enjoy the adventure, here's wishing you wonderful eggs in the near future

They are so fun! And way less work than I thought they would be (well, once we got the fort knox coop done!)

WeLcOMe To ByC!!! I love those breeds, I have the Golden Laced Wyandottes, Black Australorps, and the Buff Orpingtons! I want to get Ameraucanas next year. Haha, I know what you mean with the coop! We spent so much time on my coop, and when my dad decided that electricity would be ''Kinda Nice to have'', it got dubbed Taj Mahal! Good luck!
