I have been searching desperately the last 4-5 days to find some barred rocks and maybe 2-3 silkie chickens, and I only found one hatchery that would sell barred rocks at least, and it ended up that they couldn't ship to where I live. Me and my family live in northwestern Ontario, just over the border from International Falls. This particular district is more into horses and cattle, so these two types of chickens aren't all to common. Therefore I'm in a dilemma. Anyone who might have a recommendation for me and my family feel free to message me or post a reply on this thread, it would be greatly appreciated. We would prefer chicks but aren't all that picky given our current state. :)

Are you allowed to bring chicks over the border? I know a lot of Canadians have a PO Box in the US and drive over to pick up their mail once in awhile. There are a ton of hatcheries that would ship to the Post Office :). There are even a bunch of people on this board from Noethern MN. GL!
