Can anyone tell me what breed this is. I bought it as a Buff Orp, but it has yellow legs.
Buff wyandotte? I don't know if those even exist, but the face says wandotte to me. Maybe it's a mix?
well, its not a buff rock either as they have a different comb like the orp.........Hmmmmmm good one.......??
I think it is a buff or dun wyndotte.
YES...there IS a buff wyondotte!!! I think they are correct. Its The only one i can find in Storey's breed book that has the color, comb and yellow legs.
Buff Wyndotte do exist...I agree Silkie thats what it could be...
I agree with the others, its a Buff Wyndotte!
I vote for Buff Wyandotte.
Wow you guys are fast, went downstairs to get a bowl of soup and when I got back I had the answer to my question. Thank you all so much. If it wasn't an orp I was hoping for Wyndotte. I think they are very similar in temperament, egg laying, and broodiness aren't they. I'm gonna have to go read up on them.
Buff Wyandotte for sure! And a BEAUTIFUL looking boy! I had some buff wyandotte hens for a little while. nice bigs birds with great temperments. Where did you get him from?
