Hi everyone, I'm Melissa.I'm a NorCal girl. Here to do my homework so I can begin setting up my backyard farm. It's been my goal for some time now. I have a deal with myself, I have to aim for something for longer than a month, big things more like six, then I can move forward, as it's no longer a fleeting idea! Love to chat and learn from others. Happy chickens!!

[IMG]Welcome from Georgia! I live in the North Georgia Mountains, but I'm originally from L.A...(Lower Alabama). You will find all the info and chatty chicken folks you can handle here. So, do you have any ideas about what breeds you are wanting?

Beautiful birds. I used to have some Black Silkies, and they were very sweet, friendly, cute little birds, and great brooders and mothers. Good luck in getting your Silkies and Frizzles.
