my poor chicken was bitten by our dog and is in our makeshift hospital coop away from our other chicken in our shower. She has been here for almost a week. I flushed the wound and put neosporin on it and gave her some meloxicam the first day. I’ve Been keeping an eye on the wound. I noticed today some strange behavior I’ve never seen before. These are my fiancé’s chickens and so I’m not very knowledgeable about them but he had no clue as to what she was doing or if this meant something bad. She is eating and drinking water normally and her poops look healthy. Thank you in advance for your help. Please see video of my chicken here.

She does this intermittently and not constantly.

Is their a possibility a lung could have been punctured?

Is there a deep puncture where her lungs would be? You might have to look under her feathers.

Have the birds been wormed? Could possibly be gape worm or maybe something caught in it's trachea.

How do I check for something caught in her trachea? My fiancé said he doesn’t know if they have been wormed.
