Not as sold- all black pullet

I have two 8 week old black pullets with black feet. They have not become Barred Rocs as expected. what birds would be all black with black feet at this age? I will try to post pics later. It came from Ideal Hatchery.

I believe solid black with solid black feet is the Black Australorp.

That was one of my suspects. These are my first birds, australorps were one of the types I was interested in getting.

They sound like Black Australorps, but a picture could definitely help confirm it.

The only bird that would look close to a Black Australorp is a Jersey Giant. Black Australorps are great layers and in my opinion one of the best breeds and they are my favorite breed. I have 25 of them. 24 pullets and one cockerel.

What color is the bottom of her/his feet? That can tell the difference between australorp and Jersey Giant

They might be black sexlinks.

They're probably Black Australorps or Sex-links.
