Not Emergency - In Other News, Pulled This Off Roxy’s Foot

A few days ago, I saw a leaf wrapped around Roxy’s toe. So I thought. But yesterday I noticed it was still there, and appeared to be starting to imbed in her skin/scales. Today I pried it off. I wonder what it was?

It was her toe and the foot looks completely normal. But here’s the object in the palm of my hand.

It’s hard, but pieces broke off when I pried it off with little forceps.

It looks like a snail shell where on her was it.

Bigger. Like the size of bamboo or a reed or something. Seems sort of like plastic made to look like natural material, if that makes sense?

Ok, I just broke it apart and it seems man made. Like maybe it came off an old fake rayan chair or something. I hope there isn’t more of it out there!
