Not laying

I have two Texas A&M Quails and one male, my females are 6 and 7 weeks old. I have not seen one single egg yet, I know it's winter but shouldn't they have laid their first egg? or is the male causing Stress? Any suggestions?

It's winter, you may not see any eggs until Spring as there's not enough daylight. Some people add artificial light.

Some birds start laying at 6-8 weeks. Some birds don't start till they are 12 weeks. And if they don't have 12 hours of light a day, they might wait even longer.

My A&M's didn't start laying until the following breeding season after hatching.
They hatched in July 2015 and started laying in May 2016.

Lots of mine aren't laying right now because they are molting.

Even during the summer a lot of birds won't start laying until 8 weeks at least. Just give them time and consider adding light for 14 hours a day if getting eggs in winter is important to you.
