    Looks like a production New Hampshire to me. Could still be a production red as they can vary quite a bit.

    EDITED to add: You are totally right...she is NOT a Buff Orpington...not even close. She would be all yellow-honey colored and a lot more fluff.

    Nope, not a Buff Orpington. If I had to guess, I'd say she is a production red.

    Thank you so much for your replies!! She's not at all friendly, despite my best efforts to tame her. How disappointing! Ill try again for a BO next year ;)

    Some birds just aren't friendly (I have some myself that don't like people!)! Maybe if you continue trying to handle her she'll learn to be tame eventually. Good luck finding a Buff Orpington!

    x2 Some hens (and roosters) are just stand-offish, no matter what you do.
