Hi!
I have been looking for an answer to this: We have a non-emergency foot condition. There is slight swelling between two of her toes, but nothing on the pad underneath. It's only on the webbing between the toes.
She puts weight on it fine, walks fine and is altogether normal. She even scratches at the dirt to find bugs with it.
More details:
Barred Rock - 2 yr old.
Acting Normal, scratching, running, jumping, etc... is all pretty normal.
Doesn't seem to like it being touched - but nothing new.
We noticed it 2 days ago, but we'd like to do some preventative treatment, if possible.
Here is a picture, for reference.
What if anything, should we do? We have thought about lancing it, but aren't sure.
She's a sweet girl and we don't want to traumatize her if it will go away on its own.
I did see a similar post, with similar condition, but it wasn't helpful.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!
