Not sure-male or female 4 or 5 weeks

    I posted this in another forum but anxious to know. Buff Orp is bigger and darker. Always the first to come to me. I was cleaning out brooder with a toy shovel and it attacked it. I think roo but I am a newbie and have no idea. The lady I got them from says girl-another says boy. Help please!

    Pic quality is awful sorry. I was actually very close when these pics were taken but they look further away.

    im leaning towards rooster by leg size. usually orps roosters will show wattles in 6-8 weeks. you may be able to see them now.

    wattles? you mean when they walk? I think they all look like they wattle to me, cant tell :(

    Wattles are those red/pink fleshy flaps under their beaks, they grow along with the comb. "Waddle" is the walk.

    its not stupidity, you just didn't know. i cant tell you a single person who knows everything about chickens. heck when i first got started i thought pea and rose combs were mutations.
