Not sure these are Ameracaunas...

We got these two girls, Patty and Esmeralda, as day olds in March and were told they were Ameracaunas. From everything I’m reading I’m not sure they’re true Ameracaunas.
It doesn’t really matter to us, we think they’re gorgeous regardless, but it would be fun to know for sure what breed they actually are.
Any insight from the chicken experts on this board? Thank you!!

Not Ameraucanas If it's from a hatchery then they're Easter Eggers 100% of the time, but these ladies don't look like Easter Eggers either! I'd say maybe a egg laying hybrid? Doesn't quite look like a lot of the common blue colored ladies I see at my feedstores, where did you get them?

Ameraucanas have pea combs. These guys have singles. Could be an EE.

I agree. We got them at a feed store here in Northern Colorado. I’ve been researching for a while now, but haven’t found any birds that look like them...

My guess is Andalusian, Australorp or possibly 'Blue Sapphire' or a mix breed First two pics are blue, with some sort of silver marking in there, the second is splash, also with some silver

I’ve looked at those and they all look similar, but none of them ring true for my ladies. I’m guessing some kind of mix or hybrid. Thanks for taking a look! I’ll learn to be ok with not knowing
