Hey-Hey
In the Brooder
it looks like scoliosis of the neck. I noticed about a week ago that my 3 month old Sumatra hen has a curved neck. If you are looking at it face to face, the neck curves to the right then to the left. In other words, the head ends up back where it is supposed to be, but on one side, it looks like there's a big gaping hole and on the other side it looks like there a tumor or something because of how the neck curves. (There is no gaping hole and no tumor, just figures of speech to help visualize).
The chick is eating and drinking well, growing at the same rate as her fellow Sumatra chick, flies very well and is not getting pecked or bullied. It's definitely not wry neck. Does anyone know what it could be?
