I am the proud owner of 3 hens and five growing chicks here in Vancouver, WA. I am also the proud parent of three growing boys. Virtually all of the information about chickens has been gathered from BYC website. The shared knowledge is much appreciated

Hello danigirl and welcome! You've got your hands full with three boys and now chickens! I don't know how you do it.....Um...truthfully I do....I have 4 kids, a full time job, and lots of chickens..a few dogs...two baby turkeys...

Us women are just like super heros, I think!

Along with the chickens and kiddos, I have an 8 year old Sheltie (Keisha) and a 9 month old Maine Coon kitten (Jinx) that is 15 pounds and still growing! Just before Easter, a "wild" rabbit started hanging around our yard. His name is Stewie and he hangs out with the chickens every day now! It is funny to see him waiting for the coop to be opened each morning and hopping around the yard with the chicks. Talk about a true Easter Bunny
