I went to the one in Buffalo this past year, and it was fun. They have it here the first sunday of the month, as opposed to the last sunday of the month in NYC. The one here is much tamer, much more relaxed, very much like any other small-town parade. Beautiful weather, lots of families and friendly people, and after the parade, there was a little fair down by the marina. They had some bands playing, vendors selling various crafts and jewelry and stuff, and of course lots of fattening food (haha!).

Before I moved here, I went to the one in NYC. It was much bigger, much more crowded, and brought in people from all over the country and the world. It's a whole different kind of fun.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I won't be there, but I have a lot of fun at my school's gay pride events. I'm not gay myself, but have several family members and friends that are.
