Nystatin and Triamcinolone cream for sour crop?

Hi there - I have a chicken with sour crop and I have some meds for myself that is a combo of both Nystatin and Triamcinolone and I’m unsure if the Tri portion of the meds is safe to include for the chicken? My son uses Triam for his eczema so I know it’s a steroid—which causes me to wonder how safe it would be to ingest. Also, it’s a cream…how would I administer? Just stick it in her beak?

I would not give the steroid mixed with nystatin. You can find nystatin in a product called Medistatin powder which can be mixed in water and given orally. Sometimes it is available in smaller quantities than below. They give oral dosing at the bottom of the link:

Okay good to know, I had a feeling it wasn't a great idea. I will look at Jedds, thanks!
