O.........................K, that was weird!

DH is sleeping in this morning, way in.
Both dogs were asleep at my feet just a few minutes ago. Suddenly Jax (our older GSD) jumped up, ran in the living room and started barking at the picture of my DH's late father that hangs over the mantle. That picture has been hanging there for years and years! I tried to shush Jax, but he kept right on barking.

No, the house is really quiet right now. Besides, Kane (our younger one) didn't react to it; only Jax did.

Dreaming? I notice that my dogs look very confused when they are woken up in the middle of a dream. I do not thing they really understand the difference.

My family owns a plate that can't be put out when dogs are present. They bark, stare and growl at it incessently.
