oatmeal apple and cinnamon, looking for byc'ers

so I gave my chicks Oatmeal apple and cinnamon I checked the sugar and it doesn't have that much in it only 6g and they love it and I only give to them in very small quantities, should I continue giving it to them as a treat?

It has a very high sodium content. Not good for chickens or humans. Sorry, I have to watch my sodium intake so it's constantly on my mind.

I would worry that the vitamins they add would/could be hard on their liver. That's why I never feed or eat instant oatmeal(plus I find the texture nasty) or offer any cereal as treats.

Yes, as long as it's whole grain with nothing else added.

ETA: Of course, you can cook it and mix it with some yogurt, too!

I add some fruit to mine, for the chickens...they love to pick it out and run around like they got something special

Does oatmeal have to be cooked? What if it is the rolled outs in the box? I had this vision of it swelling up inside my chickies....Kaboom!
