Ok, here we go again. I am gonna do my best to make everyone happy. Please, If there is a problem, just send me a message and I will do my best to take care of it. I am not perfect by no means and I hope everyone can understand that.

The Rules

So big rule #1 If you have mutts you will probably only get mutts
#2 You can NOT pick a certain breeds
#3 Cutoff for swap entry is Oct 10th at midnight.
#4 the eggs have to be in the mail 2-3 days before the 31th
#5 Everyone will be required to send 6 egg (you're welcome to send more)

I'm considering it...depending on what I have laying...

Is there a way we could do "clean legged" vs "feathered footed" bantams? Or maybe even narrow down the swap, even more?

The swap is already complicated. I think by narrowing it down, I am only looking at more issue's to deal with. I am sorry. What do you think Siz?

This is none of my business, I'm new.

But I've been a moderator on an equine board for 14 years, so I do know a little something.
My suggestion is... trade those eggs.. straight up. NO PICKING AND CHOOSING. Numbers for numbers. Yes, someone WILL be unhappy, and someone will be pleased.
But ya can't please all of the people all of the time, so either join or NOT.
If they'd prefer not to participate- THEIR choice. 12 eggs shipped, 12 eggs received. Period. (or whatever number you choose)
Sure cut down on the aggravation.. My two cents.

I would like to join in, but my birds won't be laying for a while (maybe April swap), I can use some of those safeway eggs. Just kidding, my guineas are laying, but not sure if they are fertile, I have some in the bator now, I will know before to long.

How does the shipping work? I'm still a little confused. Do we pay the shipping when we send the eggs? Are there special lables to put on the box and certain weight requirements? Sorry for the Q's I'm trying to decide if I can do this, I' ve never shipped eggs or done a swap.
