Shirley my 8mth old hybrid is stretching out her neck and opening her mouth, over and over again, shes been doing it all evening.[IMG]

I worm her with verm-x every 4 weeks. I clean out her coop daily its on slab so i brush up all poop/feed, bag and bin it then clean out with very hot water, I also wash out waterer and feeder daily. I disinfect the whole coop and run with Vikrons (sp?) 4 weekly after they've been wormed. They free range all day.

    What could this be?
Is there anything I should do for her?
I try to keep them as happy and clean as possible. Im a bit worried.

I've seen my birds do that every now and then. I always just figured it was something stuck in the throat - seems like the behavior stops as soon as it starts. Doesn't sound like it could be anything due to lack of hygiene!!!!!

Sometimes if they have a bit of fibre or something any of the following may assist-

    diced tomatoes

    diced cucumber

tiny slivers of multigrain bread soaked in olive oil...

If it persists, might need to check her more thoroughly.
    Is crop emptying as usual?
