Ok so this is a really weird question but I have an almost year old silkie rooster who has always been weird, he doesn’t really mate with the other chickens, he usually stays by himself. So I just went into my coop to check for eggs and there he was, he was laying in a nesting box and throwing hay on his back and doing like a hen laying call. Never had a ROOSTER do this and now i’m just confused haha, any explanations?

He crows and tries to hump random stuff like corn stalks/like sticks :lau he’s an odd ball nonetheless, just a bit confused

Some hens crow, although its a bit rare...
I'm pretty much new to chickens myself, so you'll probably need a more experienced person to answer this question. Oh, or maybe he thought that the nest box was a nice place to dustbath/hang out.
