Thanks.

:welcomeYou have a pretty little pullet.
Thanks for your help!

I've been thinking River was a boy this whole time due to behaviour. But then looking at the photos on here the males seem to have definite comb development by this age (way earlier in fact).

Are the pullets quite feisty as well with this breed? Chest bumping other chick (pictured in last photo) from 5wks, and even tried to chest bump my adult Pekin rooster at 7wks old. River is my first experience with the breed and I'm learning how much I don't know!

Pullets as well as cockerels will chest bump, flare hackles, and mock fight - it's all play and social structure determination to them.

Amazing, that does make sense. My other chick Pebbles started returning the chest bumping a few weeks ago, I'm pretty certain she's a pullet too. They're the same age.

Well thank you so much you've been so helpful. :)

Lady. My OEGB roos get combs big and red very early. By 6weeks i always know if an OEGB is boy or girl, but usually around 4 weeks it is obvious even.
