I went to look at some chickens a lady had, ended up coming home last night with a little hen and 5 chicks. One chick died today.
Two others have pasty butt. I am trying to keep them clean, and have the hen and chicks on Duramycin in their water, and medicated feed.
Anyway though, she said the hen is an "Ingolian" - that is how she spelt it and pronounced it. I can't find anything online, no similar breed. =/
She appears to be an Old English Game Bantam of some sort, right?
Any idea what breed she is, and whether the chicks look to be the same breed, or mixed?
Now, a couple shots of her color/pattern:
From above...
Chest/shoulder...
And now, her four remaining chicks:
She showed me a little OEGB roo, and said he was the Daddy. He looked a bit like this one: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...rrTYTvJIL6sAOfz9j6DQ&ved=0CD4Q9QEwAg&dur=3649
