I had to go do chores. I have critters to attend to.

BTW when I was coming back from gathering eggs earlier, a doe was waiting for me in the driveway. She looked like she could "pop" any day now. Her belly was twice as wide as her body is. We had a nice chat.

BTW when I was coming back from gathering eggs earlier, a doe was waiting for me in the driveway. She looked like she could "pop" any day now. Her belly was twice as wide as her body is. We had a nice chat.

That is so sweet. A lot of deer travel through our place because we don’t shoot them so they graze freely.

One summer there was a mom who adopted a baby (she had a baby of her own too) but sadly she too ended up getting killed by miscuing jumping the fence we buried her. I don’t know what happened to the babies since they were still young, but hopefully old enough to fend for themselves.
