A gun is nicer but a cage and a pond is betterYup tied a rope around the handle and flung the whole thing with the critter in it in the pond. I had really bad adrenaline shakes so I didn't feel comfortable trying to shoot it.

I think you probably shouldn't stay up all night, if she can't eat on her own, there may be a bigger problem going on. But you can check on her if you happened to wake up. Just my opinion.Should I put the baby back out with the others or keep her inside and feed her every 30-60minutes (or whenever I can wake up).
That is what I am leaning towards. She will perk up every few minutes, then back down she goes. I don’t think she will make it, but doesn’t appear to be suffering.I think you probably shouldn't stay up all night, if she can't eat on her own, there may be a bigger problem going on. Might be interesting. What color eggs would you get, olive? What do y'all think about a Ameraucana/Cochin cross. Beard muffs and feathered feet I've been thinking about it.
I think next time I'll ask a neighbor if he knows which of the old-timers in the area would like the coon as a present. Some of them love to eat the odder critters (groundhogs, coons, muskrat, possum).A gun is nicer but a cage and a pond is better
That's what I was thinking. Light brown egg with dominate blue egg maybe light blue or olive but leaning towards light blueMight be interesting. What color eggs would you get, olive?
Or make a coon skin cap... i cooked a coon and fed it to the dogs and chickens!I think next time I'll ask a neighbor if he knows which of the old-timers in the area would like the coon as a present. Some of them love to eat the odder critters (groundhogs, coons, muskrat, possum).
I don't think anyone eats opossum anymore. Nothing eats those nasty things. You know how many diseases those things carry? The funny thing is they are immune to them their immune system is different than most animals.I think next time I'll ask a neighbor if he knows which of the old-timers in the area would like the coon as a present.
