It's official, we've gotten our first dozen eggs!
I'm quite surprised - our girls just want to lay lately. We've only had them for 3 days... I'm impressed.
I'm thinking we must have a Welsummer hen in our bunch somewhere - one of our eggs is a brilliant reddish-brown & it's one of the biggest we've gotten thus far... can't even close the egg carton all the way!!
OK, so it's really 11 & 1/2 eggs with that Bantam egg thrown in there!
