Oh look...it's GREEN

Our little EE laid her first egg on the 13th and she was so proud...she stood their bawking looking at it and ran to DD bawking. hehehehe so cute how she wanted to show it off right away. I am guessing she had no clue what it was.

I love the coloring of your EE, I have one similar with a lighter buff color and a little less blue. She lays me green eggs too!

It is VERY pretty! I have 2 EEs. I always include a few green eggs in the cartons when I sell or "donate" eggs. People just seem to love them. They are always asking me what kind of chickens lay those pretty eggs! I have heard that EEs can lay blue or pink eggs too. I hope to have one that does that too, someday..........


DH says it is just an excuse to get more chickens!! Well, DUH!!

Acck!!! How old is your EE? I have one that looks just like her and still no eggs!! They are determined to make me crazy. My girls are 19 weeks old. How much longer do I have to wait?!!
(Won't it be interesting to see if mine lays green eggs too...)
