I kept hearing all this walking on the roof, and all my Peas are on the roof looking in at me through the skylight.

Guess I had better go outside and feed them.

LOL!! I thought the guineas pecking the front door were bad. I'm jealous, I wish I had peacocks.

Oh I LOVE my Peacocks. I have a lot of animals here and they give me so much enjoyment.

And you hear that Peacocks are mean but I have never had a mean one.

They seem to be rather timid and gentle.

The biggest problem I have is that recently they have decided that the racks on top of my SUV are a nifty place to perch and see the world so my car is always covered with Pea Poop.

Yes, a peafowl peeping thru the skylight would make for great pictures!!

We had 6, until they started roosting on our house. Then the hubby said they had to go or be used as target practice [IMG] They were really loud though.

I love peafowl! They are so beautiful.

You know, I find that mine do not make too much noise except in March and April, breeding season.

Aside from that they usually only screech if someone is coming, and they are so reliable about that, that the dogs have taken to barking like crazy if a Peacock screams, on the assumption that someone is coming.

Turns out, they were not wanting to be fed. They did not even come when I called them. They wanted me to MOW THE YARD.

The minute I started up the mower, there they all were. I don't know if they like the bugs it stirs up or the freshly cut grass, or both, but they will follow me around like a little Peacock army.

I have GOT to figure out how to download and post photos. [IMG]
