oh my what a surprise.....

So this spring.....I took my son to the farm where we were going to get my ducks from. While we were on the tour he found two chicken eggs and asked the man if he could have them.....the sweet man said yes. So we brought them home and put them in a fake incubator. A few weeks later we went back to visit and switched the eggs out for chicks (Thomas and Emily). Well to make a long story short my sons best friends hatched out their first childrent this morning.............

We are so excited. What more could a mommy ask for

Woo hoo! GrandChicks!

My first GrandChick was hatched on June 24th, so it will be a while before she lays... she was a solo hatch, so she's very very special.

This past Monday, a different broody hen hatched four chicks, so I have 4 more GrandChicks!

I think I'll eventually have GreatGrandChicks but that's about as far as I can carry the generational labels.

But YOU definitely have GrandChicks!
