I didn't know where else to post this. Apparently, New Orleans is having a hard time "managing" their flock since Hurricane Katrina. I got a kick out of reading this article and wonder about the delicious chicken recipes inserted in the story. Some of the comments on the story are pretty funny, too. I really can't see a downside to having chickens all over the place, but I guess some people do. Sooo, not only are these chickens feral, but they're probably breaking all kinds of chicken ordinances into the bargain...too funny.

That is hilarious. I wish I had some wild chickens near me- I would throw out some scratch and a nesting box and pray for eggs.
