OMG we are so excited, my son woke me as I was having a nightmare about the poor little things and says Mom we have 4 babies, this was about an hour ago, since than we are up too 12, now how long does it take them too dry? I called into work saying I'd be late so that I could get most of them into the brooder but don't know how long to wait? Any one out there?!!

I would leave them in till this evening anyway, giving any others a chance to hatch before opening the incubator.

I was told to get them out as soon as they start being able to co-ordinate themselves a bit. I was snatching them out of the brooder an hour or two after they hatched and it seems to work, have 16 running about the brooder now [IMG]

Whoever posted the tip to put craft stuffing in the water so they cant get wet is a genius! Havnt had even one get wet and yet they are all drinking just fine!
