Oh we have babies!!!

OMG we are so excited, my son woke me as I was having a nightmare about the poor little things and says Mom we have 4 babies, this was about an hour ago, since than we are up too 12, now how long does it take them too dry? I called into work saying I'd be late so that I could get most of them into the brooder but don't know how long to wait? Any one out there?!!

I would leave them in till this evening anyway, giving any others a chance to hatch before opening the incubator.

I was told to get them out as soon as they start being able to co-ordinate themselves a bit. I was snatching them out of the brooder an hour or two after they hatched and it seems to work, have 16 running about the brooder now

Whoever posted the tip to put craft stuffing in the water so they cant get wet is a genius! Havnt had even one get wet and yet they are all drinking just fine!
