    OK, so we are at about 14 weeks old. I have no idea about these 2 still. I realize I'm probably going to have to wait till egg or crow, but I still like to guess and see what ya'll think.

    HAHA!! And this is why silkies are SOOO confusing! I can't wait to know for sure! I posted weeks ago and had the guess that shadow was a girl, and snype was a boy.

    I'm thinking girls based on the comb development but silkies are tricky

    I also lean towards girls but all silkies look like girls till well grown... LOL you just have to wait. [​IMG]

    i think shadow is a boy, and snype is a girl. [​IMG] based on the darker feather feathers coming in on shadow. i forgot what the name for those feathers are. but hopefully some silkie experts will chime in.... silkies are tricky though...

    Yeah, Shadow has always been darker than snype
    About 8 weeks old I think? Shadow on left snype on right.
