Practical Poultry looks like a fantastic magazine... but at $75. a year.. who can afford that?

I get both, and I recommend Backyard Poultry. It is a very good magazine with beautiful pics and helpful articles. Poultry Press is a newspaper, lots of ads, and geared toward breeding and showing.

I am renewing my Backyard Poultry subscription, so that's an indication on how I feel about it!

Practical poultry is from the uk so the shipping it makes it really expensive. I get backyard poultry, very good magazine for chickens.

I've gotten the last 3 issues of backyard poultry and really like it. They don't do just chickens either which is nice.
