Chickiebaby and I made a $25 bet on the outcome of the election.
I lost that bet and have just made a $25 donation to Doctors Without
Borders as agreed upon in a previous post.

    See http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/

    While
I'm concerned with the outcome of the election, giving $25 to a
worthy organization put a smile on my face.

Thanks to Chickiebaby, my friend and fellow patriotic American, for a fun
bet. I'll get ya next time. [IMG]

I, too, am concerned, but I'm SOOOO glad that something really awesome came out of it!!! We sponsor a child through World Vision, and I'll tell ya there's nothing like knowing you're helping someone who needs it!!!!

What a great bet, and although it always sucks to lose, in this case it was a good thing too!!!!

Oh I'm sure you will Buff and many others here will do the same.

I never speak of the charities I donate to because charity is something
    best done in silence.

However, in this case, Chickiebaby and I turned a debate into a tiny
donation and a tiny donation is always worth more than a debate. [IMG]

PC, you are one good dude, and a gentleman too. Was it Oscar Wilde who said that a gentleman is one who pays his bills on time and honors his bets? Think so.

In any case, I am hereby I am matching your donation, in your honor.

    With love,

This is the way we should all be acting with each other. We are one big family of chicken lovers and I just don't want to have controversy anymore. [IMG]

Hey, pc, keep your ear to the ground for another iffy situation worth betting on. We've got a good thing goin', and lots of charitable organizations could use our chump change.

Let me know if you think of anything else worthy of our attention.

    best.

How wonderful of both of you to donate! I am not a big fan of betting, but in this case, I see it was a good cause.

Sorry you lost PC, but I am glad something good came out of it [IMG]
