    OK, here are my babies.. can you tell what the little yellow chickie is? I have no clue.. they came from a batch of mixed bantam chicks from the feed store.. the gray one (Lola), is a Cochin, I believe...

    The yellow one looks just like my Buff Orpingtons. I'm new to this whole chick thing, so I'm just guessing.

    I don't know on your yellow one because I'm a newbie too, but you're right on the grey one- it looks just like my baby blue cochin.

    Congrat's on the new chicks!

    but i thought rirs were darker like a golden brown

    Wow, RIR... I never even guessed that. Did I read somewhere that pullets get tail feathers before roos, or is it the other way around?
