Heck, if my repeated emails to them are not returned to simply get registered, why would I dare use their services to buy or sell?

I'll just buy my eggs & chicks from the kind folks here at BYC!

I registered a long time ago, and have had trouble with them since. I too never received a response. So, I took my business elsewhere. A lot of the sellers on there are BYCer's anyway.

Yep, I don't either like egg-bid. And here on the BYC you can keep in touch with the peeps.

You are not alone in this......many folks were peeved off at Eggbid. No one is at the helm and if you do not pay anything to them, despite of the warnings, they simply do not do anything at all. After all, it should have been shut down if any of the managers are not in their offices at all. Time to shut down Eggbid eventually.

It used to be very popular about five years ago, having three to four pages long of different birds and eggs. Now it is pitiful.

If you have a free email address such as hotmail I don't think they allow you join......at least I think that's the way it used to be.
