Its day 21 for 40 BO eggs in teh incubaoter. I only have 1 pip and he pipped 2 days ago and STILL working to get out! he is peeking out and i want to help, but im not gona open the bator. But i see no other activity on any of the other eggs! When i candled on day 18 upon removing the turner i saw at least 36 viable eggs with moving chickies, should i contiunue to be patient or are things going awry?

If it's been two days, open the bator tomorrow morning and help the one that pipped two days ago... go careful and have a wet paper towel ready if you see any blood, stop and put it back in.

How is your humidity?

Like I said, give it till tomorrow morning.... that'll be day 22 right?
That will also be 3 days pipped and you are walking the line on viability at that point.

not need to worry, many can be late/ what day did you consider day 1? it should be the day after you put the eggs in.
and yes, day 25 is a good day to call it quits. i wouldn't worry, i'ca had alot of late hatchers

congrats on the 1st pip! remember, once they start hatching it can take them up to 3 days to pop out
