You can use the bird netting that people use to put over berry bushes and things like that. They do make a plastic poultry netting, though I'm not sure how much either one is.

Several days ago I won an eBay auction for some Polyethylene Bird Netting, 50 X 50, from a company that offers free shipping within the U.S. I haven't received it yet, but I did receive an email that it's been shipped. I did a little comparison shopping on it on ebay before making the selection ... and chose the company that offered free shipping. Most other companies charged quite a bit (I thought) for the shipping.

A local breeder in Oklahoma recommended the netting sold on ebay, and said he's been using the netting on the top of all his runs, and it's still in good condition after several years of Oklahoma weather.

I wish I could add the link of the eBay auction, but I'm at work tonight, and eBay is unfortunately a blocked website for me at work [IMG] They must have had a lot of people at work surfing eBay ... not that I would be one of them if given the opportunity [IMG]

Thank you so much! That is where I believe we are going to get it from, the one I saw, shipping was going to be $16.....but total was only $46, and that is still cheap, people around here pay $300 for a smaller amount of that stuff!

    Thank you everyone!

Such great help, never ever thought about trying ebay for netting...

We got our netting from Lowes that was a 4ft wide by 50ft long roll for a little over $13.00 per roll. We just zip tied the pieces together. Works great for us.

Chicken wire / poultry netting works good too.
