I know it's a hen for sure. She's still in nasty shape, needs a bath and is missing a bunch of feathers. Probably going to be a while before I see eggs, no muscle at all on her ribs.

Looks like a rooster to me but the breed I have no idea.

All the hens in the flock I'm working on catching look like this one with just different coloring. The roo is HUGE, waddle and comb are much bigger on him.

I have to agree - that's a rooster, not a hen. He has long pointed sickle/saddle feathers coming in. He's probably all beaten up from the head rooster.

I thought for sure it was a hen! Oh Well, guess it will be a cold day you know where before I get an egg out of him huh? No problem! I still have 5 more to round up anyway

Cross fingers I don't have to wait long.

Still would like to know what type he is though
