Pictures of 3 eggs found in the coop today. 1 regular, 1 SUPER jumbo, and 1 SUPER mini.

Consistency only happens in store bought eggs. I enjoy the inconsistency. Those little eggs are useless but so adorable.

Oh, I know. Just doing a little chicken shaming. Besides, the kiddo wants to put the little egg under his microscope.

The small super dark one is pretty, do you know which bird laid it?

I THINK it's Xena's sister, our other Asia Black, as it's the only one that looks really different than the other ones. Our tetra browns lay brown (of course), our leghorns, white (of course), and our unknown browns lay a pale brown/lavenderish egg. I've been looking for pics of other asia black eggs to compare them but can't seem to find them.

I'm not familiar with Asia Black's. Do you have a photo you could share of her?

Are they fertilized??? It would be awesome to see what chicks come out of those 3 eggs!

I did a Bing search and see where Hoover Hatchery in IA has them too. But it didn't say much about them other than slow growing and good layers.

Kiki, do you know what they are a mix of? Just curious, can't get any more girls now but sure love the color of that egg!
