Okay, I am so much a newbie! Babies have chipped through and nothing else !

Hello,
So, I have messed this up at day 18. I did not remove the egg turners from my incubator in time.. of course I panicked! I posted and someone here calmy told me what to do(Many thanks) . So this morning i noticed chip marks in 2 eggs. I swear can see another wobbling at times. I have read many threads, however, I am still a bundle of nerves!! NOTHING else has happened. My humidity (acording to the temp gauge) wont stay abouve 70. Are they ok? Yes, i suppose that's a rhetorcal question. I can't stand it! I added hot water through the holes on top. I think I have become the crazy chicken lady!

Calm Down----Don't over do it-----don't add HOT water----100 degree warm water. Give it some time. Go watch TV instead of the eggs!!!

Thanks! I can't seem to help myself, but thanks, I wasn't sure if I was to add hot water or what to do! I feel so helpless, and I almost convinced myself I already killed them!

I agree----I did not mention above-----I did not want that poster to think I was really crazy but at that time with 949 eggs incubating in 5 incubators-- I had over 500 chicks in brooders, got to over a 1000 in 25+ brooders---LOL---That Man Is CRAZY!!!
