i need to find a legitimate website that says how many square feet per chicken is needed to comfortably house my hens?

About 4 sq ft per bird. 1 nest box per every 3 -4 birds.

According to Storey's Guide for Chickens, for standard birds it is 3-4 sq ft. That's the smallest amount for the birdies.
