I just joined BYC new to scene of chickens and computers. It's exciting to be learning new and fun things at ripe age of 66. Just starting on ideals for 1st coop. Will be moving and remaking 10x12 building into something for my new girls. Makes me feel like a madam of chicks and I haven't even one to care for. Hope to hear from others new on scene.

Believe me at 66 you are a spring chicken, I am now 66 1/2 so there! Didn't you know 60 is the new 40, or something like that. You will do just fine with chickens and anything else you set your mind to.

Thank you Diva for the words of encouragement, which I will put to good use...but I must ask you are you a conehead or egghead with that beautiful hat?

this is the same breed I'm going to start with. Fell in love with these beautiful black girls first time I saw a picture of them.
