I was thinking about making it with pretzel sticks in it. Is that possible? I didn't get to make it to Shawnee.

Dandelion - Some of the eggs actually did develop a little, so I'm not sure what happened, I've never had such a terrible hatch. They did come from Florida. The Marans were extras, only thing that hatched.

Actually mine comes from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook(1997 edition), I have found with my crockpot that my "keep warm" setting cook's more like "Low" and my "low" cook's high, and the "high" setting cooks... well burnt..lol and my crock pot is only 5 years old..lol

Maybe try cooking on your lowest setting possible... other than that I would use more water. If you dont have a Better Homes and Garden Cook book let me know I will PM you the recipe.

I have been a Police Chief, Fire Chief and County Sheriff and none was as bad as my days as a substitute teacher at our High School!

Gary, I agree. There must be a special place in heaven for those who love teaching children. I can't begin to imagine how difficult it would be to substitute teach. At least if you have the same of group of students every day, you can get your bluff in on them early and not have to prove you are tough every single time you walk into a new classroom.​
