Okra

Been too hot to work in the Garden last few days, plus busy with a family illness. Result was that today I picked two bags of too tough Okra to eat. Waste not, want not, I cut it open to expose the seeds and fed it to the chickens. They loved it. I always toss my spoiled and excess garden stuff to the chickens, but this is the first time I tried tough Okra pods. Note: My Garden and Chicken run shares a fence which I grow the vine crops on.

Tough okra... boy does that sound familiar!

That stuff is tiny one day and huge the next!

Yeah that's what we do with the tough okra. They love to pick out the seeds.

I actually boil the huge ones and they eat it all lol
