Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Which part of Texas are you in? My wife and I were both raised in Texas. If you get tired of the heat there, you can always move to NW Montana like we did.) If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

Add 100% humidity to that heat and you have Florida! [IMG]

It's nice to have you here!

In the past few years with climate change, Hawaii too. It's one of many reasons why we moved from Hawaii to Montana.)

Midwest might be a good change for you - you can go through all the seasons in a matter of days but, mostly cold, snowy winters. Welcome to BYC.
